Atlanta Streetcar, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2003 to explore the return of the electric streetcar to Peachtree, Atlanta's signature street. The streetcar will deliver residents, conventioneers, tourists, office workers, and suburban commuters closer to the front door of their destinations. By providing a distribution system and connecting it to existing and proposed mass transit infrastructures, the streetcar will offer Atlantans a safe, efficient, and enjoyable means of transportation.

The streetcar would help to create a livable urban landscape, spurring economic development along its path and reducing traffic congestion and pollution for the entire Atlanta region.

Our goal is to create a modern streetcar line and keep Atlanta moving in the right direction.
